Arrival Timings
Check-in is from 4pm. We are usually around to let you in but if for any reason we are not, there are lockboxes you can use to check-in yourselves.
Getting Here
Search for The Renard in Google Maps or enter the postcode EX14 3JT. What3words: ///cable.waltzed.spill
We are based between Payhembury and Colestocks and you’ll reach a large cream farmhouse with a driveway and Barns to the left.
Parking
As a reminder, we have maximum capacity for six cars on-site.
We can accommodate upto four cars tucked in neatly on the road outside our property (just past the property on the left, after the grass verge and next to the hedge). The other cars can be parked in the meadow behind the roadside hedge, at the back of the Barns. Please park neatly towards the far end of the meadow, in front of the hedge.
Gate Access
The code for our gate is *1234# and the keypad is on the right-hand-side of the gate. It can be slow but please do not force it. The gate will close automatically behind you and there is a button to push on the right to exit from the property.
Lockboxes
The Warren is in the far right-hand corner of our courtyard next to the outdoor seating area and there is a silver lockbox on the wooden pergola opposite the front door. The main key for The Barn will also be in this lockbox.
The Barn key will open the padlock on the large wooden doors, the internal large barn doors, and the two doors either side (The Snug and the door by the grand piano).
If you have also booked The Den, this is the first guesthouse located just after the open barn on the left as you come into our driveway with the wallpapered hallway. There is a silver lockbox on the short wall to the right, opposite the front door.
Lockbox codes will be shared on the day of arrival.
