With eleven en-suite bedrooms, three kitchens and four living spaces, the unique and considered layout is perfect for family gatherings, catching up with friends, and corporate retreats.
Living Spaces
The Barn is the ultimate entertaining space, with its soaring double-height vaulted ceiling, bespoke Italian lighting and striking dried-floral installations suspended above a reclaimed wooden dining table. Vast double doors open directly onto the meadows, while a grand piano invites late-night renditions of Etta James and beyond.
Adjoining the main Barn, the timber-clad Snug offers a more intimate retreat, complete with a generous wood-burning fire, a hand-built bar, and a projector screen for unforgettable movie nights.
You’ll be spoilt for choice with plenty of areas to relax and kick back in your home-away-from-home. As well as the main Barn, there are a further two living spaces in The Warren and The Den, each with their own little kitchenettes.
Take It Outside
The Barns are positioned in a large sun trapped courtyard and are a perfect way to escape the city and enjoy catching up with friends or family over long lazy weekends.
In the summer months, make the most of the sunshine whilst cooking al fresco on the extra large fire pit and sit beneath the pergola with twisting jasmine and wisteria hanging overhead. Help yourself to the bountiful selection of herbs and salads growing around the outdoor dining area.
Nestled into the meadows, you’ll find two large outdoor baths to enjoy whilst listening to the sounds of birds and wildlife nearby, as well as a Sunset Deck where you can catch your breath whilst soaking up the views of East Devon’s rolling hills.
If little ones need entertaining, there is a wooden swing, and plenty of games for all ages.
Sleep Deep
There are eleven bedrooms across the estate, each furnished in their own unique contemporary style. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and luxury linens and towels are provided.
There are six double bedrooms above The Barn and three in The Warren to sleep 19 guests. The Warren is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
If you’d like to host up to 23 guests, there is a second guesthouse called The Den which has a further two en-suite bedrooms.
Travel cots and high-chairs are available for infants too.
Cook Up A Storm
The main kitchen in The Barn has everything you’ll need to treat your guests to a feast. There’s also double dishwashers for when you’re finished because who enjoys washing up? You’ll also find two kitchenettes in each of The Warren and The Den for those who might favour a quieter breakfast experience.
As well as the fire pit, there is an Ooni pizza oven for your al fresco dining and a fully functioning commercial kitchen on-site which can be booked for larger events.

Get Exploring
Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are many amazing places to discover nearby. East Devon’s stunning coastline is a 20 minute drive and Dartmoor National Park is well worth a visit with its roaming wild horses and majestic landscape.
Enjoy some delicious food and a stroll around the kitchen gardens of The Pig at Combe Hotel (10 minutes by car) or check out Exeter City Centre which is 20 minutes away.
Alongside the breathtaking walks, local activities include cycling, hiking, sailing and Land Rover off-roading amongst many others.
